Pictured: John Burnside is a Scottish writer, born in Dunfermline. He is one of only two poets to have won both the T. S. Eliot Prize and the Forward Poetry Prize for the same book.
Book fanatics headed to Charlotte Square in Edinburgh which is the hub of the international Book Festival to meet the authors and also to meet up with fellow fans of the printed word.
