East Lothian, Scotland, UK, NHS Lothian & Muirfield Riding Therapy celebrates 10 years of Hippotherapy: Physiotherapist Heather Falconer pioneered The Children’s Therapeutic Riding Service providing therapeutic riding free of charge to children, young people and adults with disabilities. The service was the first in Scotland for children with mobility, balance, muscle tone and coordination problems. Oreo, a mechanical horse, allows youngsters to have fun physiotherapy. Kyle Clark, aged 8 years, rides Oreo.
