The Edinburgh Diwali celebration culminates in a procession from the City Chambers on the historic Royal Mile to the Princes Street Gardens. Celebrated throughout the world by Hindus, Seikhs and Jains, the Festival of Light symbolises the victory of good over evil. People celebrate Diwali through distributing sweets, gifts and thanks giving to each other.
