Police Scotland luanched a series of vehicle checks to be carried out by the Lothians and Scottish Borders Division Road Policing Unit. Inspector Roddie MacMillan oversaw the checks which are part of activity taking place across Scotland this week to help drivers get ready for winter, ensuring their vehicles are maintained and they are aware of the different hazards the changing seasons and weather can bring.
