Art Walk Porty, Edinburgh, 31 August 2018

The first event of Art Walk Porty, Portobello's community arts event, started this lunchtime. Hastings-based artist Greig Burgoyne started his live-art performance on the beach at Portobelllo - the site of the old Portobello pier. The piece, Pier to Pier, takes the form of a day-long drawing performance and makes connections with Hastings and its still-standing pier. The event runs until Sunday 9th September with a wide range of exhibitions and events taking place across Portobello.
