Rural Affairs Minister Mairi Gougeon, MSP, announced funding to promote locally sourced food and drink on a visit to an Edinburgh cheesemonger today.
A total of 21 projects will share £95,550 from the Connect Local Regional Food Fund.
Ms Gougeon met producers from Fine Cheesemakers of Scotland at I.J. Mellis Cheesemonger in Edinburgh. The group has been awarded funding to develop marketing materials and promote cheese as a pairing to whisky.
