Registers of Scotland marks its 400th anniversary. Keeper, Sheenagh Adams marks the occasion by reading a poem written by Makar, Jackie Kay.

To also mark the landmark occasion artists Cristina Spiteri and Suzanna Murphy unveil a specially-commissioned work of art. The installation represents a 400 year timeline and forms the land mass of Scotland. Etched onto the coloured, transparent plates are the pages of The Sasine Register, each panel is engraved with script taken from registers that correlate with that period in time.
