Pictured: Elaine Nisbet, anti-poverty and welfare manager for West Lothian, explained the facilities to Ms Freeman.
Minister for Social Security Jeane Freeman visited The Bathgate Partnership Centre today to launch the first local jobs with Social Security Scotland.

Ms Freeman met with staff within this muti-functional community hub that is the type of venue where local social security staff will be based.

These are the first of, at least, 400 local jobs that will be created across Scotland. Social Security Scotland staff will be based in every local authority area to provide face-to-face support for people using the new social security system.
