Pictured: Stef Penney is a filmmaker and writer. She grew up in the Scottish capital and turned to film-making after a degree in Philosophy and Theology from Bristol University.
Book fanatics headed to Charlotte Square in Edinburgh which is the hub of the international Book Festival to meet the authors and also to meet up with fellow fans of the printed word.
