Humza Yousaf MSP visited Mayfield and East Development Trust (MAEDT) today in Dalkeith as part of his campaign to win the leadership of the SNP
Humza Yousaf has said he will “fight tooth and nail” against a failing Westminster system that has failed working families in Scotland during a Cost of Living Crisis of the Tories’ own making.
Speaking ahead of a visit to Mayfield and East Housing Development Trust (MAEDT), Humza said: “More and more Scots are being pushed below the poverty line as foodbank reliance sits at record highs. The team at Mayfield and East Housing Development Trust do amazing work to offer a helping hand to those in the local community who are struggling to make ends meet - but it shouldn’t have to be this way.”
