Scottish Lib-Dems mark World Refugee Day, at Scottish Emergency Rescue Association in Edinburgh, Scotland on 20 June 2024

Today, to mark World Refugee Day, Scottish Liberal Democrat leader Alex Cole-Hamilton met with Scottish Emergency Rescue Association, a volunteer organisation that regularly sends relief supplies and life-saving equipment to Ukraine following Russia’s illegal invasion.

During the visit where he met volunteer Norman Colville and vounteer co-ordinator Rab Forsyth, Alex discussed the importance of maintaining the UK’s defence spending to fight Russian aggression and promote global security.
