Police Scotland is warning that anyone can be a victim of doorstep crime after householders lost hundreds of thousands of pounds to scammers.
The Shut Out Scammers campaign was launched today at the Clydesdale Bank, George Street, Edinburgh. Chief Superintendent John McKenzie was joined by colleagues from Police Scotland, Clydesdale Bank, Care and Repair Edinburgh, Crime Stoppers and Trading Standards.
