21 Gun salute, Edinburgh Castle, 6 February 2017

To commemorate the Queen's accession to the throne on 6th February 1952 a 21-Gun Royal Salute takes place at Edinburgh Castle.

The Queen becomes the first British monarch to reach their Sapphire Jubilee.

Prior to the Royal Salute a Guard Mounting takes place on the Castle Esplanade.
