Pictured: Alexis Jenni is a French novelist and biology teacher. His debut novel, L'Art français de la guerre, won the 2011 Prix Goncourt, France's most prestigious literary award.
Book fanatics headed to Charlotte Square in Edinburgh which is the hub of the international Book Festival to meet the authors and also to meet up with fellow fans of the printed word.
