David Livingstone Medal Sale, Edinburgh, Friday 24th May 2019

An extremely rare David Livingstone gold medal awarded to one of Scotland's first female geographers, Marion Newbigin, will go on show before it is auctioned next month. It is expected to fetch more than GBP6,000.
