Edinburgh, Scotland, 03 May 2019. Pictured: ‘Blue’, an Irish Greyhound and former racing dog, who is in training as a therapy dog to help people with anxiety and depression with mural artist Katie Guthrie at the Edinburgh Dog & Cat Home mural unveiling. , The 80 foot mural is unveiled today as a colourful addition to Seafield promenade. It is designed and painted by local artists Studio N_Name. It depicts the people, heritage and environment of the local community and features flora, fauna and historic elements of the local coastline. It has been made possible through through partnership with Edinburgh Shoreline Project. It is on the seafront wall of the dog & cat home which rescues, reunites and rehomes lost, stray and abandoned dogs and cats across Edinburgh and the Lothians, caring for 2,367 dogs and 771 cats in 2018.
