Hostage situation, Grangemouth, 4 April 2025

Pictured: Emergancy services and Scottish Gas are attending suspected hostage situation in Grangemouth. The incident started around 2pm at a flat in Portal Road Grangemouth. The occupier of the flat has turned on the gas and is threatening to blow the flat up. It has been reported that Police Scotland have been called to the flat on a number of occasions recently. A neighbour suggested that the girlfriend of the occupier was thrown off the veranda a few weeks ago.
