The Scottish Fire & Rescue Service unveiled it's latest weapon in firefighting, an ultra high pressure lance that allows firefighters to put out fires more quickly using less water, and without having to enter the building. It is part of a £7.6 million GBP investment in 40 new smaller fire appliances that will enter service over the coming months, and will primarily be stationed in rural communities.
