An exhibition on Conceptual Art 1966-1975 coincides with the launch of an architecturally significant bothy conversion forming an artists's residency.

Sanquhar's former lemonade factory has been converted over eight years by the artist and filmmaker David Rushton. Rushton's Bothy offers a major architectural contribution to sustainable small-scale low-cost living/conversion.

Inspired by Kurt Schwitters MERZBau in Elterwater, Cumbria and Schwitters' work on montage and assemblage, the opening celebrates the seventieth anniversary of Schwitters' most significant artistic contribution in the UK.
