A new Climate Comic created by deaf pupils is to be launched by Forth Valley Sensory Centre (FVSC) and Windsor Park School. Pupils from Windsor Park School, which supports primary and secondary aged children with hearing loss, worked with FVSC to design and develop the comic. It was drawn by the children and features their take on climate change. Importantly, it was designed with accessibility in mind.
Interviews will be available with Sara Burns, FVSC Project Coordinator, Windsor Park School teacher Lesley Haston, and pupils from Windsor Park School who helped create the comic. A BSL interpreter will be provided. The event will be attended by local politicians and a number of other charities and third sector organisations.
