Pomathorn Fam wind turbine was under repair today on the outskirts of Loanstone, near Penicuik Midlothian. The cost to hire the cranes and cherry picker required to reach up to the 16.5 metre turbine blades coming in at around £17,000 per day means that it is not an everyday task.
