Calmac MV Hebrides, Sailing Ullapool to Lochmaddy Isle of Uist, 28 March 2023.

Further Disruption at the Uig Ferry Terminal Linkspan has caused chaos for the second week in a row, with the ferry being transferred to Ullapool

Friday 24th - Monday 27th March

The Highland Council have placed a restriction on certain vehicles travelling out of Uig.

They include; commercial vehicles greater than 10m, cars 4x4 and trailers, large motorhomes.

Service will revert to the Uig closure services with a daily service provided between Lochmaddy – Ullapool

Unfortunately this means that there will be no service operating to/from Uig. Affected Customers will be contacted by the Ports and rerouted to travel on our Ullapool/Lochmaddy service where possible.
