Migration Minister Ben Macpherson visited Think Tank Maths Ltd in Edinburgh today on the day a report on migration by an expert panel was published.  The Expert Advisory Group on Migration and Population, chaired by Professor Christina Boswell of the University of Edinburgh, was asked to give independent expert advice to the Scottish Government on migration, population growth and demographic change.<br />

A new booklet was created by a group of prisoners after a Meet the Police event revealed many prisoners' children thought the police had taken their parent from them. The leaflet was launched by Mark McDonald, MSP, Minister for Childcare and Early Years at Saughton Prison, Edinburgh. The minister was joined by Scottish Prison Service chief executive Colin McConnell, PC  Tracey Gunn, Prison Link Officer Police Scotland, Nicola Ceesay, HMP Edinburgh Visitot Centre  Richard Thomas, Superintendent Police Scotland and other senior police officers<br />

Migration Minister Ben Macpherson visited Think Tank Maths Ltd in Edinburgh today on the day a report on migration by an expert panel was published.  The Expert Advisory Group on Migration and Population, chaired by Professor Christina Boswell of the University of Edinburgh, was asked to give independent expert advice to the Scottish Government on migration, population growth and demographic change.<br />
