Pubs with beer gardens are back in action in Scotland from today. The Pear Tree and 56 North in Edinburgh asked customers to book socially distanced tables for two-hour slots. This is to protect staff and customers alike. All details of booked clients are retained and temperatures taken before anybody is permitted in the Covid 19 free zone. Operations manager for the Pear Tree, Brian Dobie was keen to show customers that the bar was taking their responsibilities seriously with only table service for all food and drink. Any walk up customers to 56 North have to provide their contact details to ensure any health issues can be traced if required.
