During the visit Mr Yousaf saw how the business is benefiting from adopting electric vehicles via the Low Carbon Transport Loan Fund, as he announced an additional GBP8.2 million to support the purchase of low-carbon vehicles. <br />

Humza Yousaf, MSP, minister for Transport and the Islands joined the Edinburgh Community Safety Partnership as they officially launched Edinburgh’s Transport Charter aimed at eradicating hate crime on all forms of transport in the city. Each of the organisations involved with the partnership will outline their approach to responding to incidents.  The launch will be followed by two days of action where representatives will be in transport hubs, promoting an understanding of hate crime, raising awareness of the charter and how to report unacceptable behaviours.
