• With exactly a week to go until the polls open, Scottish Liberal Democrat leader Willie Rennie will begin a 'flying finish' tour of Scottish seats that the Liberal Democrats are targeting to gain from the SNP. He will spend the week on visits to these target gains.

Mr Rennie will say that in seats across Scotland, like East Dunbartonshire, North East Fife, Edinburgh West and Caithness, where it is straight a choice between the Liberal Democrats and the SNP, people who are against another independence referendum should rally behind the Liberal Democrats to stop the SNP’s plans.
