  • Edinburgh's graffiti artists have taken their tagging exploits to a new level by swapping their paints for pieces of marble and granite. The name of Youtz is daubed around the city on walls but now it has appeared along with other graffiti artists 'tags' on the walls of a bridge intricately carved into pieces of granite and marble and then stuck onto the wall.

  • Clouds rush over the Cross and Church at Kilchoman on the island of Islay. The cross dates back to the 1300's when the medieval church was built. The beautiful and very detailed Kilchoman Cross, carved in Iona style, measures 8 feet 4 inches in height, and with the exception of the inscription it is in a very perfect state of preservation, though the design is in places obscured by lichen. The cross has a striking similarity with the great cross at Oronsay Priory albeit that the Kilchoman Cross has more complicated scroll-work.
