The carts, designed to echo the old style bathing carts that used to grace Portobello beach, will be used in a variety of ways by different artists at locations across Portobello, Edinburgh's seaside suburb. The Art Walk is now in its third year and will run over the next day days with a range of events and exhibitions.   • Inspired by Glasgow 2018 European Championships mascot Bonnie the Seal, the DanceBase Splashmob is a multi-generational dance ensemble which includes two Dance Base performance groups: Lothian Youth Dance Company, and the critically acclaimed semi-professional elder dancers company, PRIME.   • Runners gathered for the annual Portobello Beach Run this morning across the sands of Portobello Beach. Starting and finishing at the Promenade bar, The Dalriada, the runners went to the far end of the beach at Seafield and back again, splashing through the Figgate Burn twice on their way.<br />
