  • The Jennifer Ewan Band took a break from their Fringe show 'Bonnie Bayou' at the Montebar to check out the best spots to perform at Portobello's Big Beach Busk this coming Saturday. The local Scots-Cajun pop group will be back on Saturday afternoon along with musicians of all sorts providing a mile of music at Edinburgh's seaside suburb. This will be the eighth year of the busk that was first started by Portobello resident Paul Lambie. All performers are welcome to just turn up, find a place to play and join in. Pictured: Jennifer Ewan (guitar) and Kim Tebble (accordian). Not present was third band member Iain MacFadyen (Bass)<br />

  • Portobello, Edinburgh's seaside suburb, is awash with Art. Almost everywhere you look there is something to see as the Art Walk Porty community art festival takes place, now extended to run over ten days covering the first two weekends of September.
