• An exhibition of collages and screenprints by David Mach HRSA RA will be on view at the Royal Scottish Academy from 3 August to 8 September. Mach has gained significant recognition for his assemblage-based public installation works and has recently moved into collage as the result of having thousands of magazine images leftover from the construction of his installations.

The exhibition will comprise over 50 small-scale collages which will be available for sale at affordable prices. Mach has made collages that focus on the city of Edinburgh especially for The Paper to Prove It, with views of Edinburgh Castle in several works. Two stand-out large collages, Plonk and Trickle, will also be on view, showing Mach’s virtuosic skill as a collagist.
